Well, I'm suddenly really sick, after being under the weather from a sore throat and a bad cold for two weeks now, and thinking I was trailing [livejournal.com profile] swestrup's symptoms.

Last night my skin went tickly as if I had a fever, then that was replaced by shivers, although I wasn't cold. IN the middle of the night I felt hot, and now, this morning all the feverish stuff is gone and I just ache all over. I pulled a leg muscle in the middle of the night about two weeks ago, which refused to heal in the intervening time, and this morning I feel as if I have also pulled my (corresponding) arm muscles, my thumb muscles, my lower-back muscles, my neck muscles and I have a hard time getting up from chairs.

Ha, you are currently weak. I shall attempt to assimilate you now.

I hope you feel better soon. This spring lurgy is no fun at all.

Hot bath, and onion-garlic soup!

I had the shivers and fever the last two days. When they went away, so did the cold. (or mostly so.)

Yes. The shakes and fever abated by the next morning, leaving me hurting all over. The cold continued. This morning, the pains are less, the runny nose much less, but the nasal passages still remain mostly clogged (and my nose hurts). My right hurts, and is still mostly weak, my wrist hurts in a manner resembling carpal tunnel, though no numbness, my right leg is still weak, but no longer hurts, and my lower back still demands attention. All in all, an improvement over a few days ago. Going up stairs is still an effort, but not as much as before. It's as if the fever redistributed pains.
Would that be a useful spell, redistribute pains? Each turn you'd have the same number of hit points of damage, but they'd affect randomly different parts of your body?
