My father died early in the morning on Thursday morning. It was not totally unexpected -- he was 88 and has been in and out of the emergency room last year -- but it was still an unwelcome surprise. I spent the past few days running around about the paperwork. I am tired, but there is a lot I have to do still, as the executor of the will. Every now an then, I cry for a few seconds -- I don't know what triggers these spells, but at least I know what they're about,

I'm so sorry to hear that... best of luck in terms of dealing with everything. If there's anything I can do to help (a bit late, I know, but...), do let me know, eh?

Take care of yourself.

[livejournal.com profile] rosy1 told us the news.

My deepest condolences. Even if he was 88, he had great meaning to your life. You have more right than anything to be sad.
